Spectator Entrance info for Wednesday Aug. 12th during the Fair!!!

Next week is Fair week at the Action Track. On Wednesday August 12th the entrance for the Spectators and the Pits are a bit different. For those that are new to our Fair setup I have posted a diagram and notes on how it all works. This is for Wednesday racing only. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday the Spectator side is part of the Fair. Sunday we will have everything converted back to normal. Again these notes are for Wednesday August 12th.

1. If you are a Spectator and want the Races ONLY, it will be the normal adult $12.00 ticket. You will park in the College Parking area. There will be a Spectator ticket booth at Gate #2 this year. You will enter the races from there and walk up through the normal parking area to the grandstands.

2. If you want to go to the Fair and to the Races BOTH. You will enter the grounds off of Wenz Road where you normally do. At that gate they will sell you a $10 Fair admission ticket. You will park in the area you normally do. Then to enter the Races it will be only $8.00 with a Fair wristband already on. We will have ticket takers located where you enter under the middle of the grandstands.

3. If you are handi-capped and want the Races only, last year they were allowing you to get a Race Spectator wristband and then go show the Fair admission people on Wenz Rd. They were allowing you to enter there and park in the normal handi-cap area. Now this is not written in stone and was a courtesy to you last year. I suggest being kind and respectful when heading over there to do so. Kindness goes a long way. If that area gets to full and they turn you away, please understand they are just doing their job. We will also have a golf cart at the Spectator entrance to help those that are truly in need of a ride to the grandstands.

The USAC Championship SpeedSTR’s and the Allstar Slingshots will have a regular show. Sunday night August 16th is the 75 lap Dick Tobias Classic for the SpeedSTR’s.
