Foley Cat Acquires Naming Rights at Kutztown’s Action Track USA
Kutztown, PA (January 14)— When the 2024 season gets underway in Kutztown on Sunday, May 5, there will be a new name adorning the signage at the Berks County race place.
Foley Cat, a certified Caterpillar dealer for over 60 years, is the new naming rights sponsor at Action Track USA, and it is a partnership that has both parties feeling optimistic.
The Foley Cat location in Whitehall, PA is closing as a new facility in Breinigsville gets set to open on Monday, January 22. The new location is situated in Lehigh County, but not far from the Berks County line and Berks County’s baddest bullring, of course, is Action Track USA.
Representatives from Foley Cat and its new location hope to use the partnership with the speedway to educate race fans and others on the many facets of their business. Foley’s mission is to provide their customers with the best products, superior service, reliability, trustworthiness, and value when purchasing Cat equipment. And that equipment included not just heavy construction machinery, but also industrial engines and power systems.
Foley, Inc. of Breinigsville will be a one-stop shop for Cat equipment purchases, service, and repair. The new facility is located at 10171 Old U.S. 22 in Breinigsville, PA.
Action Track USA co-owners Rich Tobias and Doug Rose are excited about the new pairing, too. Rose said, “this is an extension of the partnership I developed with Foley at Bridgeport (NJ), when I reconfigured the race track. They were instrumental in providing the equipment we needed and servicing equipment that was already on site. We are thrilled that Foley Cat wants to be part of our program at Action Track USA and we’re anxious to promote and publicize everything they have to offer.”
Foley Cat Action Track USA, as the speedway will now be known, takes its 2024 green flag on Sunday, May 5 with an evening of high speed adventure featuring the All Pro SpeedSTRs, Hyper Racing 600 Sprints, All Star and Junior Slingshots. Added to the opening day festivities is an afternoon matinee highlighted by the winged 270cc Sprints and Xcel Modifieds. The afternoon starting time has yet to be determined, while the evening’s menu of clay spraying competition will see pit gates open at 4 p.m., grandstand gates at 5:00, and warm-ups beginning at 6:15.
Hugely popular special events returning in ‘24 include the Short Track Super Series Modifieds on Tuesday, May 21; AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series (part of the Eastern Storm tour) on Sunday, June 16; USAC East Coast Sprint Cars on Wednesday, July 10 and Sunday, August 18; Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek event on Wednesday, July 17; and the Xtreme Midget Series on Wednesday, August 7.
Foley Cat and Action Track USA…two of the most popular and highly respected names in their industries, are teaming up in 2024 and that can only mean even more adrenaline pumping events at the clay playground located on the Kutztown Fairgrounds!
