Alex Yankowski to Drive Paul Lotier’s No. 7 USAC SpeedSTR at Action Track USA

Kutztown, PA- (July 9, 2018) One of the hottest dirt sportsman drivers of 2018 will be adding Wednesday nights to his already busy racing schedule when he straps into the Paul Lotier No. 7 Bagel Rack USAC SpeedSTR for the remaining 2018 races at the Action Track USA.

Alex Yankowski who will turn 14 on July 23rd will be taking over the driving chores of one the most storied cars that has raced at the Action Track USA, a SpeedSTR that was previously driven by Timmy Buckwalter and most recently by USAC star Brady Bacon in June.

“It’s a really cool opportunity for me,” stated Alex. “It is an honor to run the Lotier family number and I know that it is going to be an awesome experience.”

The 2016 Action Track USA Rising Star of the Year in the Slingshots is currently leading the points at the Big Diamond Speedway having won four main events along with three at Five Mile Point Speedway along with a season opening victory at Georgetown Speedway in his No. 84Y Sportsman TEO race car. Yankowski has eight wins in the 27 races he has run this season along with 19 Top 5’s and 23 Top 10 finishes.

“The track is racy and if your car is fast you can definitely make moves,” added Yankowski. “There are a lot of good guys that race here so I am a little nervous but we’ll just have to see what happens. Action Track USA is an unreal place to race…I can’t wait to get started.”
